Mike Marcotte (Head DJ)

Mike Marcotte hails from Washington DC and has served as the head DJ for the International Lindy Hop Championships since it's inception. Whether as the house DJ at K2 Dance Studio, putting together Sunday Blues at Glen Echo with his partner Donna Barker, to The Jam Cellar and beyond -- he's always trying to keep the floor rocking. He was honored to have been selected to be among the DJs at the Frankie95 Birthday Festival in NYC. He has served as a competition DJ for several years at Swing Fling, The Virginia State Open, and The American Lindy Hop Championships.




Allen Kerr

Allen has been ravenously collecting music since 2005 and found he has a knack for finding music that delights and inspires dancers. He has DJed many national events, including ILHC, Lindy Focus, Eastern Balboa Championships, Enter the Blues, and All Balboa Weekend. Allen also spins regularly for the Jam Cellar, DC's Bal Night, Backroom Blues, and numerous other local dances.



Michael Gamble

Michael Gamble is a world-renowned swing DJ who has been of doing his thing for events large and small for over 10 years. Michael has been head DJ and/or competition music coordinator for Lindy Focus, Beantown, European Swing Dance Championships, and has been a regular featured or staff DJ at Herrang Dance Camp, International Lindy Hop Championships, Lonestar Championships, Empire City Swing, and many others. His DJ appearances at workshop events and exchanges are too numerous to mention. Michael’s musical content is known for its authenticity to the Swing Era, and its hard-swinging mix of both familiar and more obscure recordings, especially those that have a verifiable historical link with the various genres of swing and closely-related partner dances. Michael’s approach is to choose the right song for each moment that will elevate or nurture the dance floor, keeping the party going without sacrificing stylistic integrity.


Mike Thibault

Mike has been DJing swing and jazz music for over ten years, starting out on the air at RIT's Swing Show in 1998. Since then, he has gone on to spin tunes for dancers at exchanges, dances and workshops all over North America, and is known for building up the energy of any dance floor. He is a fixture at late nights in Swing Out New Hampshire and the famous Lindy Compound in Rochester, NY.




Mindaugas Bikauskas

Mindaugas Bikauskas interest in swing music began much earlier than he started dancing Lindy Hop, but discovering swing dances was the main reason being immersed in the depths of jazz. Mindaugas started DJ’ing in local, Lithuanian swing dancing events, and in 2008 in the name DJ Deeb he dared to play in the international swing dance camp 'Herräng Dance Camp'. In 2009 DJ Deeb was invited to be the official staff DJ 'Dance Camp Herräng'. HDC 2010 he kept his career being DJ Coordinator assistant and staff DJ. Going deep into jazz, not only on the computer screen, but with street swing ensemble "Rhythm Junkies', that was founded by himself, Mindaugas, increasingly known as DJ John Deeb, career continues not only in Lithuania but also abroad.




Mary Freitag

Mary Freitag began DJ'ing sweet sweet swing music in her college town of San Luis Obispo, CA. After graduating, she moved back home to LA and has been DJ'ing it up at bunches of venues in LA and dance events (both Lindy and Balboa) all over. Mary loves playing the music that inspires her to dance which consists of good old classic 30s and 40s swing with vintage blues sprinkled on top - yummy.
